CHULE WINS THE CROWD BUT LOSES SPLIT DECISION

Morris Chule a true warrior took the fight to Santiago and the Texas crowd was on his side. Landing most of the shots and dictating most of the fight but the judge of Texas felt differently. Once the decision was made the crowd went crazy booing the hometown fighter Santiago.
Former world title challenger Mario Santiago (21-1-1, 14 KOs) won a split decision over Morris Chule (7-7-1, 7 KOs) in a super featherweight bout. Scores were 78-74, 79-73 for Santiago, 77-75 for Chule.
